How to replace default Letter US paper format by A4 on printer
- Open printer and scanner windows
- Click on the printer you want to configure, to develop sub-menu
- Click on "Printer properties"
- Click on "Preferences"
- Click on "Advanced..."
- Replace "Letter US (21,9 x 279,4 mm)" by "A4" paper format in the list, and then validate by clinking on "OK" button
- Click on "OK"
- Click on "Apply" button to save modification or "OK" to save and quit the window
Launch regedit with administrator role
--> if you haven't this possibility, please the DSI Teams or create a new ticket on Freshservice Mysupport portal
with admin roles
Copy this sting: Ordinateur\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printers
and paste on path bar as describe under, then press "Enter" to apply
- Select the printer to configure, and devlopp sub-keys
- click on "DsDriver" sub-key
- Double click on "PrintMediaReady"
- replace "Letter US (215,9 x 27,9,4 mm)" by "A4", and click on "OK"
- Dont panic if you receive this message !
- Click on "OK" to close windows
- you cant close "Regedit" tools
- You can control that A4 is now the default format, and you can print a "test page" to verify
